Aerial View Berkhamsted Castle

This image gives a great viewpoint showing the multi moated castle which dates from pre 1066. Free entrance, open daily (except Christmas day), weekends May-Sept have a visitors information set of panels and a model to view.Walk up to the top of the Motte, or around the perimeter. Picnic /play in the spacious grounds.

I volunteer here as a steward at weekends as part of Berkhamsted Local History Society.

 

I now offer the original artwork for sale direct from my studio in Tring, Herts. The originals are hand-painted painted using water-based Winsor & Newton professional gouache paint on Arboreta E.S. white drawing cartridge paper 160g/m2

Dimensions:

This painting is A3 size, it comes mounted (white acid free mountboard, outside dimensions 51cm 40.5cm (20” x 16”) but un-framed. Signed and titled in pencil by me.
