One of at least seven large Inns named in 1686. In 1783 the building was refronted in brick when it was advertised as a Posting House. By the 1880's a horse-drawn omnibus from the Griffin met each train from Chalfont-St-Giles. Now a bistro, restaurant, event venue and co-working members club with its own in-house bakehouse

I now offer the original artwork for sale direct from my studio in Tring, Herts. The originals are hand-painted painted using water-based Winsor & Newton professional gouache paint on Arboreta E.S. white drawing cartridge paper 160g/m²

This painting is A3 size, it comes mounted (white acid free mountboard, outside dimensions 51cm 40.5cm (20” x 16”) but un-framed. Signed and titled in pencil by me.
