This beautiful, locally owned independent bookshop is in a
historic building in the heart of Berkhamsted. The shop opened in November 2022 and has become a much-loved destination for many locals and visitors.
Their stock is hand curated by Charlotte's small team who have
over 30 years combined experience in independent bookselling. They have new titles arriving daily and offer a bespoke ordering service and love sourcing and recommending books for people.
They are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment and offering great value and service to all customers. They support local authors and artists alike!

Obsidian Art Gallery

Obsidian Art Gallery opened in 2002, but sadly had to close its premises in Sept 2025 after 23 years due to the ongoing HS2 issues nearby . HOWERVER! As one of the largest fine art, and designer craft galleries in Buckinghamshire, Obsidian is fighting back with a range of pop up galleries, events, a full on- line shop and as a major participant of Bucks Art Weeks in June 2026, and Herts Open Studios in Sept 2026 ( where you can find my work under their pop up in Berkhamsted Civic Centre) Trisha is continuing to support and sell my work at these events as well as via their on- line shop
