Aston Clinton- The Bell

The Bell at Aston Clinton. In the late 1920's novelist Evelyn Waugh often drank at The Bell. In the swinging '60's The Bell was the eating place of choice for the glitterati including Richard Burton, Elizabeth Taylor and Jackie Onassis. In the 1970's the Roux Brothers and and Raymond Blanc trained here.  The car is a one off unique beast known as an Owen Jaguar built in 1958 by a coach builder named Freddie Owen
