Berkhamsted High Street Drawings 2000-2002 was my first book. Published November 2002, this was a labour of love. I hand drew each individual building along the entire high st, both sides, from Swing Gate Lane to Cross Oak Rd on the South, and The Old Mill, to Stag Lane on the North side. Each on-the-spot drawing was executed from my folding camping stool, using nothing more sophisticated than my thumb for 'measuring' Many people will recall me sitting out there sometimes from 5am, or until 10pm. I worked three jobs at the time, so fitted this in my spare time. It took three years to complete. As a Berkhamsted native, and chairman of Berkhamsted Local History & Museum Society I noted down under each building the previous shops and businesses.

....Hardback,128 pages sepia on cream paper. printed on quality grade paper in Great Britain. I published 1000 copies, and hand-numbered each one. The book sold out years ago but you can still pick up copies sometines at the Berkhamsted Oxfam bookshop or on eBay.

This is the last ever copy. I had saved number 1/1000, but now offer it for sale
