Joan Berkhamsted Lower Kings Road

Here is the corner of Lower Kings Road, Berkhamsted as it curves away towards the station. Historically Lower Kings Road was built in the late 1870s by public subscription after the "new" railway station was built in 1875 (the original station being near the Crystal Palace pub)

My painting shows the former Meek's Livery stable buildings, now smart shops and cafes including the vibrant buttercup yellow "Joan" coffee shop!
