Chipperfield The Windmill

Built around 1725, this country pub once served time as the alehouse for the employees of the nearby smock windmill which is now no more. Since those days it has absorbed three adjacent cottages. Listed as a beerhouse in 1838 owned by Willian Tyres and kept by George Evilthrift.

I now offer the original artwork for sale direct from my studio in Tring, Herts. The originals are hand-painted painted using water-based Winsor & Newton professional gouache paint on Arboreta E.S. white drawing cartridge paper 160g/m²

This painting is A3 size, it comes mounted (white acid free mountboard, outside dimensions 51cm 40.5cm (20” x 16”) but un-framed. Signed and titled in pencil by me.
