David Bowie

I've added this watercolour picture of David Bowie's iconic image from his "Ashes to Ashes" single 1980. I painted this in around 1982 aged around 15.

The song (and video) has a profound affect on the teenage me - forming my taste and alternative outlook to both music and fashion. Its NOT painted in Gouache, Its watercolour on paper - the original is very small, but I thought it would be a great addition to my website as an example of my early work
