Little Gaddesden showing The Bridgewater Arms Pub. The name of the Bridgewater Arms perpetuates the memory of the various Dukes of Bridgewater who owned the Ashridge estate. Initially it was home to the localschool where children had to enter through a window as they were not allowed to pass through the licensed bar!
