Mentmore Towers

 Mentmore Towers, Buckinghamshire, historically known simply as "Mentmore", is a 19th-century English country house built between 1852 and 1854 for the Rothschild family. Now a private residence its not open to the public. Take afternoon tea in the sunny gardens in this picturesque Chilterns village as The Stag at Mentmore is a stones throw from the village green. Mentmore hosts an annual Arts Festival in the May Bank Holiday weekend.
