Old Amersham The Griffin

One of at least seven large Inns named in 1686. In 1783 the building was refronted in brick when it was advertised as a Posting House. By the 1880's a horse-drawn omnibus from The Griffin met each train from Chalfont-St-Giles. Now a bistro, restaurant, event venue and co-working members club with its own in-house bakehouse.
