St Peter and St Paul Tring

A magnificent Medieval church in the heart of the High St

 A Norman church stood here by 1100, as a few stones in the outside chancel walls show Norman tooling. The church was rebuilt in the early 13th century. It is built of flint and Totternhoe stone . In the 14th century a Hertfordshire spike was added.

My dad was a member of the bell-ringing team and rang here every Tuesday at practice night. I can hear the bells ringing from my garden. One of my very favourite sounds ever!

 

  I now offer the original artwork for sale direct from my studio in Tring, Herts. The originals are hand-painted painted using water-based Winsor & Newton professional gouache paint on Arboreta E.S. white drawing cartridge paper 160g/m2

Dimensions:

This painting is A3 size, it comes mounted (white acid free mountboard, outside dimensions 51cm 40.5cm (20” x 16”) but un-framed. Signed and titled in pencil by me.
