The Alford Arms Frithsden Berkhamsted

The Alford Arms, Frithsden, Herts is a gastro pub nestling in this pretty Chilterns hamlet on the edge of the National Trust Ashridge Estate near Berkhamsted. The pub is popular with cyclists, walkers andhas a fabulous reputation. The old Manor house onthe LHS has an interesting pargetted front. In years gone by, before the bounderies were changed, its front door was in Herts,whilst the back door was in Beds!
