The Coronation Scot Berkhamsted 1939

Showing the streamlined Coronation Scot passing through Berkhamsted in the winter of 1938/1939. The view is from my grandads house- (in Castle Hill Close) which was purpose built that year to overlook the LNWR railway. Accross the valley you cansee the snow covered roof of All Saints church. My grandad and grandma are shown in their garden, with my dad as a boy playing with his dog.
