The Stag at Mentmore

 The Stag at Mentmore, Buckinghamshire on the village green, was built by the Rothschilds. Recently renovated, and with new local management its well known for its excellent restaurant. Take afternoon tea in the sunny gardens in this picturesque Chilterns village, or stop on your cycle ride as there is a dedicated covered bike hub with a bike fixing stand, you and your bike chums  can take refreshments without taking off your cycling shoes!
